Fame and Forensics

Forensics is the science of collecting, preserving and analysing scientific evidence for the solving of investigations and crimes. Forensic scientists work with evidence from crime scenes such as murder weapons, fingerprints, DNA analysis, toxicology, blood, hair, body fluid, fibers among much more. Forensic specialists are experts in organic chemistry, physics, genetics and biology, who don’t only do laboratory work, but are sometimes expert witnesses in civil and criminal court cases. The term forensic comes from the Latin word forensis, meaning public discussion or debate. These are some of the most famous fiction forensic scientists you may know:

How many of these famous, fictional forensics characters have you heard about?
